Hello, and thank you for taking the time to peruse my online Professional Portfolio of Teaching. I'm doing my very best to keep it simple, as well as to ensure that there's not a lot of excess materials and documents to get lost in. My hope is that this portfolio will do an excellent job of clearly illustrating a select few things:
- My ability and understanding regarding classroom (both short term and long term) planning, management, instruction, and assessment
-My commitment to the profession as a whole and to every single one of my students
- Who I am as an individual, and what I bring into any given classroom in both social and professional capacities
- The multi-faceted growth I've experienced since the start of Professional Semester II
- The way in which my craft aligns with the professional Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSAs)
- The underlying belief system and general approach to teaching that I maintain. My personal philosophy on educating young people, so to speak.
While there may not be a great deal of substance to it just yet, please bear in mind that it is a work in progress heading into Professional Semester III, and it will continue to evolve until the final days of my internship, and even beyond that. Even with so little currently available, there are still a number of documents and written works to effectively communicate all that I have listed above. Again, thank you for taking the time to visit.
